WORKING WITH COUPLES
RBW Family Ministries exists to help couples enrich their own marriages, and raise kingdom families, to strengthen the church and society. We do this through couples counselling, couples Bible study and seminars for couples. We also have a regular couple’s devotion through which we encourage further reflection and follow-up.
Under this umbrella we will have the following headings:
Couples Counselling
Couples counselling specifically address the issues a couple might face in their marriage, in a one-on-one counselling session. This is unique counselling geared to the need of each individual couple.
This is one-on-one counselling in person and online (via Zoom).
Couples Bible Study
Reading and meditating on God’s word is essential to the growth of marriages. Our Couples Bible study courses further strengthen husbands and wives and helps them to become involved in kingdom purposes, so they may be useful to the local church.
10 weeks course: Becoming a Missional Family
14 weeks course: Married for Life
We hope that couples who attend these courses are equipped to begin their own small groups on these topics with other couples that are in need.
This Bible study is in person and online (via Zoom).
Couples Seminars
Many families are living without really understanding God’s blueprint for marriage. RBW Family Ministries offers seminars with teaching on the different aspects that couples might struggle with, equipping them with knowledge and practical tools to tackle the different needs that arise in a marriage.
These seminars* are delivered in phases, and can be either one-day, two-day or three-day workshops. We can also do longer, more in-depth workshops covering the following topics.
Phase I: God’s Blueprint for Marriage, Love Languages, Conflicts, Headship & Submission
Phase II: Communication in Marriage, Making Marriage Affair-Proof, Open Homes, Family Altar
Phase III: Spiritual Warfare, Finances in Marriage, Roles in Marriage, Model Missional Family
